October 11, 2010: AOC’s new ‘Razor’ series monitors feature a cabinet measuring just 12.9mm thin, which the company believes to be the world’s slimmest LED monitor.
Available in four sizes, the new monitor feature an LED panel with a Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR) of 50,000,000:1 and a base that can double as a wall-mount that saves space and retains a tilt function for superior ergonomic viewing. Illuminated soft-touch controls, along with a colourful graphic on-screen menu, provide user-friendly monitor adjustment.

Razor-series monitors are free of toxic mercury (Hg) and consume up to 50% less energy compared with traditional 4 CCFL screens. Power usage is further reduced by ‘e-Saver’ technology, which enables the user to set the monitor to a lower power configuration when the PC is in screen-saver mode, powered off or left unused for a while.
Razor monitors are available in stores and through Altech Computers. RRPs are as follows: 18.5-inch – $189, 20-inch – $199, 21.5-inch – $229 and 23-inch – $269. For more information, visit www.aocmonitor-anz.com
